Hanover Park Village  desires to protect the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens through the maintenance of structures and properties in the community.  Properties that are neglected and unsecured have a negative impact on the community and create conditions that invite criminal activity. Oftentimes, foreclosure parties are out of state which makes it difficult to notice the proper party of violations and maintain the adequate level of maintenance and security on such structures or lots. To minimize these negative impacts,  Hanover Park Village  has established a property registration process that will identify a contact person to address violations for properties in the foreclosure process.
